Our History
The growth of Thika Road Baptist Church from 1965 until today can only be explained through the words that the Lord gave the founding missionary, Ed Weaver. He and his family arrived in Nairobi, Kenya, in 1962 as the first Baptist missionaries and rented a house in Garden Estate, near Braeburn School.

Wednesday Prayer Meeting 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Bereavement: Stellah Kalekye, whose dad passed away and the burial will be on Friday 11th September 2026 at Mwing West. We will have a comfort service today at her place at Kamiti Ridge at 3:p.m. Kindly note there will be no P.M. Service. Let us keep our sister in prayer during this difficult time.

The Social and Welfare Committee will have their Monthly Meeting next Sunday, the 13th Sept. 2026, shortly after the Second Service in the Mother’s Room.

This is our Mission Month. The theme is “Salt of the World”, as seen in Matt. 5:13a. Our services for the month will focus on missions and the world’s need for the Gospel. We shall have various guest speakers speaking on the same. All are welcome.

Communion Service will be held today immediately after the Second Service.

Ladies Fellowship will be held on Saturday, the 19th Sept. 2026 at the Old Auditorium from 1:00 PM to 4:00 P.M. Esther Circle Group will be hosting. All ladies are invited.

Faith Followers will have their Quarterly Meeting on Saturday, 19th Sept. 2026 from 9a.m to 1:00 P.M.
