Our History
The growth of Thika Road Baptist Church from 1965 until today can only be explained through the words that the Lord gave the founding missionary, Ed Weaver. He and his family arrived in Nairobi, Kenya, in 1962 as the first Baptist missionaries and rented a house in Garden Estate, near Braeburn School.
Our Services

English Bible Study 9:00 am – 10:00 am
English Service 10:15 am – 12:30 pm
PM Service 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Wednesday Prayer Meeting 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Announcements.
- Communion Service will be next Sunday at 8:30am for Kiswahili Service and shortly after the Second Service.
- Ladies Fellowship will be on Saturday 13th from 1p.m to 4pm in the Old Auditorium. Glowing in Glory Group will be hosting. Topic (Women’s health and lifestyle practices). All ladies are invited
- Baby dedication will be today during the Second Service.

There will be a Joint Fellowship of our sister churches today at Thika Road Baptist Church starting at 3p.m. You are encouraged to attend. Kindly note there will be no P.M. Service.
- ROPES Programme for 2026 takes place every Sunday from 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. with parents’ meetings held today the last Sunday of every month at 12:30 pm.
- There will be a Youth Camp at Word of Life in Diani, North Coast, from December 26th to 2nd January 2027. We are pleased to announce the charges for this camp will be;
- 11,500-/ for non members. Registration is ongoing. Please get in touch or contact Bro. Kevin Onyango for any query.
