LADIES FELLOWSHIP

THEME: “Abide in e and let your light shine” John 15:4; Matt. 5:16

It is a beautiful sight when ladies gather together to worship God the Almighty and the creator of the universe.

Ladies are a special interest group and certain emotional, psychological and spiritual needs are best addressed in their gathering.

The TRBC Ladies Fellowship is designed to provide a platform for studying God’s Word, impacting wisdom and life skills and the warmth of sisterhood as well we press on to the mark of perfection.

Ladies from all walks of life regardless of age, tribe, race, social status or marital status among other, are welcome.

MISSION

To “continue steadfastly in the apostles doctrine and in fellowship” with God and with one another. (Acts 2:42)

OBJECTIVES

  1. The Great Commission: To evangelize to the lost and to teach them. (Matt. 28:19-20)
  2. The Great Commandments: To love one another. (John 13:34),

OUR PURPOSE

In line with the objective, the Fellowship therefore strives to provide ways to connect because we understand that connections are key to thriving, growing and maturing church of Jesus Christ.

MONTHLY FELLOWSHIP

The Ladies Fellowship Meetings are on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 1:00P.M to 4:00P.M for a time of praise, worship, prayer, sharing the Word of God, acquiring life skills on issues that affect women, refreshment and sharing a meal.

LADIES BIBLE STUDY

As Christians, we can only overcome the unexpected changes of this life by growing deep in the Word. Bible study takes place every Sunday 9:00A.M to 10:00A.M. and the sessions are guided to enable us to discover the great treasure in God’s Word. You will enjoy the sweet fellowship among this group of women.

LADIES RETREAT

Every year ladies take time to go and have some time together; learn God’s Word and life skills in a calm, soothing and relaxed environment.

LADIES GROUPS

These groups provides the opportunity for spiritual growth and fellowship in a setting that helps foster deeper relationships that facilitate prayer for one another, sharing of experiences and the warmth of sisterhood.

To provide a platform to mingle with all the ladies, the groups are recognized after every 2 years. 

For 2020 and 2022 are eleven group names representing the character/traits of Jesus which Christian are called to emulate. They are:

Gracious, Friendship Providence, Praise, Virtuous, Love, Industrious, Kindness, Success,

 Prudent and Favour.

PLUG-INS

The Fellowship provides a platform for all the ladies to serve God, because they are called, talented and gifted in different ways, which is the main purpose He created us.

Currently the areas of plug-in are:

  1. Intercessory – Prayer warrior
  2. Hospitality and visitation – visit the sick, elderly, organization of weddings, visiting new mother/babies.
  3. Mentorship – young couples, windows, youth, young mothers, singles, career.
  4. Outreach– collaborate with the Missions Committee of the Church to fulfill the great commission.
  5. In-reach – enhance fellowship amongst the ladies.
  6. Praise and worship– Planning and leading sessions during the Fellowship
  7. Communication – packaging of information meant for the ladies, coordinating use of equipment, etc.
